I have a Basic Atom Pro Plus(I think) with a IO board attached to it. I want to connect a serial cable from a mini-itx board to it and send commands from mini-itx to the Basic Atom Pro.
I can program the X86 portion easily enough in C under Linux, but I am wandering if anyone can see any blindingly obvious flaws with this idea?
Unless it’s one of the Renesas SDK boards we did for a contest a couple years ago then you have an AtomPro. The AtomPro+ is the H8-3687 based AtomPro. The SDK used the 3687 and the AtomPro+ 40 will use the 3687. The 3687 has some extra features(more PWM, more timers, more ram, more rom etc…) hence the “+” in the AtomPro name.
We’ve got the prototype AtomPro+ 40 module finished and tested. We’ve just been sidetracked by other projects so getting it in to production has been delayed a little. SHouldn’t be much longer though.
