How much is the max weight/load for the DFRobotShop Rover?

Hello,

I’m looking for a mobile platform to mount my Lynxmotion arm kit, and considering the DFRobotShop Rover. I was wondering, what is the maximum payload can the Rover (with the included motors) carry? I couldn’t find any documentation on it … The Lynxmotion kit is roughly about 23oz/650+ grams without batteries.

Hi Mathias,

Welcome to the RobotShop Forum. The absolute maximum payload on a horizontal surface is ~1kg. This having been said, we advise no more than about 500g. The dimensions of the DFRobotShop Rover are also not appropriate for the arm. The AL5 robotic arms are quite large and we suggest either the Lynxmotion 4WD platform or the tracked platform.
