Hi.
I’m starting up to make an EH3-R type hexapod. I will be using a BBII + Basic Atom 28 + SCC32 (V2). The Basic Atom 28 will be programmed with the basic program from the PowerPod software.
Can someone explain how many legs of each orientation (left – right ) do I have to make?
I have read the 3dof leg assembly instructions and it looks to me that I have to make 3 left and 3 right legs but the instructions also state that you have to make 6 right legs if you use servopod. What is servo pod?
Three of each. It should be in the assembly guide, which is excellent.
Which assembly guide (link) are you following? It may not be the right one or might need to be updated.
8-Dale
I think the round hexes use 6 of the same orientation, but I could be wrong.
No, the round ones also use 3 right and 3 left legs
It states right up there at the top:
This is the one you’ll want, since you’re using the Bot Board, etc. 3 right, 3 left, and you’re set.
The Servopod was a servo controller that we used to carry, but no longer do.
OK, thanks everyone
Now back to the assembly bench
