That means the servo can move 60 degrees in 0.15 seconds. Not sure how accurate the conversion is, but because there are 6 x 60 degrees in a full rotation, it would be 6 x 0.15 = .9 seconds for a full rotation. This equates to 0.9 x 60 = 54 RPM. This would not be extremely accurate, but a good starting point.

FYI - from another forum, I see that he is planning to modify the servo and use it on 10cm wheels…

I am planning to use two HS-5745MG servos, that have been altered for continuous rotation, with 10 cm diameter wheels for a robot I’m building. I am trying to work through the tutorial, but I’m stuck with the rotational speed. The only specs I can find for the servo are:

There was an answer up there given the .18 seconds…

55.56rpm * 31.415cm/r = 1745.4174 cm / min

You calculation for RPMs is incorrect. .9second per rotation is 66.66rpms. Thats because the calculation is not 0.9 * 60. It is 60 / 0.9 .

Ah, right you are… I guess I was thinking 0.9 revolutions in one second. But it’s one revolution in 0.9 seconds. Whoops. Thanks
