How do I power the servos in an AL5B "no electronics" kit?

If I get the medium-duty kit, and plan ahead for adding the light-weight wrist-rotator option, what voltage and amperage do I need to power all of the servos?

Additionally, if I got the complete kit option, would I be getting a transformer in the kit? Would there be a separate transformer for the SSC-32 as well?

Hint: If you click on the product there is a list of what is included.

The arms work well with 6vdc and 2amps or more. The kits include the wall pack for this, but the SSC-32 is powered by a 9vdc battery. This can be powered by a low current dc supply of 7vdc to 9vdc.

OHMYGOSH. I’m sorry. I’ve been looking over this stuff for… many hours. I basically memorized the info about the AL5B kit… from robotshop.com, not lynxmotion.com. It’s right there, like you said. Again, sorry. I’ve even used their terminology in the subject field.

Their forums aren’t nearly as responsive.

I just bought an AL5B (free software) kit from you guys directly. I’ll figure the rest out later… with the help of these forums!

Hey no problem. Glad you got the info you wanted.
