Programming or developer mode on Unitree robots is only available on the EDU variants. Before enabling it, ensure the robot is stationary and clear of obstacles. Connect via the official Unitree app or the robot’s built‑in web interface and navigate to Settings or Developer options to toggle “Programming mode” or “Developer mode.” Some models require pressing a specific combination on the handheld remote (such as holding a shoulder button while pressing the power or function button) to enter or exit programming mode. Turning off programming mode returns the robot to normal safe operation. Always power down the robot completely before changing modes, and consult your model’s manual for exact instructions. Basic and Pro variants do not expose programming mode.
