How do I correctly install motors on my HQuad500?

Hello,

I have the HQuad500 frame and the Brushless Motor 28x30 1000kv (http://www.lynxmotion.com/p-913-brushless-motor-28x30-1000kv.aspx).

The motors come with extra hardware.

I followed the instructions previously but was concerned that the motor was not secure enough using the 4 screws.

I could not find any documentation regarding the motor themselves. Is the extra hardware used for securing the motor or are they used for attaching propellers? (Referring to the picture)
