How can I give my robot navigation goals without using the cursor?

Hi!

I am using rviz and on ROS Melodic for navigation. I know I can use the option “2D Nav Goal” to provide a destination to my bot. Is there another way to tell my bot where to go?

I am using Jetson Nano, a car kit, RPLidar A1M8.

Not exactly sure as I haven’t use Melodic, but I’d guess a good starting point may be to look at tutorials related to it and navigation and even tutorials for other robot platforms for more info, such as:
