To calibrate the joints on your Unitree robot, place the robot on a stable, level surface and make sure it is powered off. Use the Unitree mobile app or the robot’s handheld controller to access the calibration menu and follow the on‑screen prompts to calibrate each joint. During calibration the robot will slowly move each joint to its home position; do not obstruct or force the joints. Joint calibration is only necessary if a servo has been replaced or appears out of alignment—avoid unnecessary calibration, as it can wear the servos.
If the robot fails to calibrate or continues to show error codes after calibration, inspect the joint for mechanical damage or loose connectors and try again. Contact RobotShop or Unitree support if the problem persists or if you are unsure how to proceed.
