Hovis Lite bolt issue

I received my Hovis Lite kit yesterday and started assembly. Everything was fine until I reached the point of using the RA-0063 Bolt CH/T 2.0X4 that are used to hold down the DRJ-0010 Harness clamp on the legs.
The bolts do not fit the holes. I tried more than one of the bolts then tried other servos with more than one bolt.
Not sure what to do as there is barely any clearance between the wires and the leg bracket.
I have had no other issues in assembling any of the other parts. Just this one. I can get a bolt about half way in and that is it which makes it stick out even farther than just the wires causing it to catch on the bracket. Just the wires alone catch on the bracket.

Hi and welcome to our forums!

We’re sorry to hear you’re having issues with the kit. We would recommend you contact the manufacturer directly to troubleshoot the problem: dongburobot.com/jsp/cms/view.jsp?code=100705

If the manufacturer determines that there are parts that are defective or missing, please let us know and we would be glad to help you get new parts.

We hope this helps,

Their form asks for a serial number which the kit doesn’t have and it will not allow submission without a serial number. The box for email address will not allow my full email address. I put the email address in the text box which is limited to 100 characters so explaining the problem plus adding email address was a challenge.

Ok, please let us know if you don’t receive a response. We’ve also contacted Dongbu to verify that they received your message and verify if there’s another better way for contacting them.

I did email them at the email address listed on that page linked above on the day that link was posted here. It was forwarded to two other email addresses as shown in an autoresponse that I received. I haven’t heard anything back yet.

If you do not hear back from them soon, or have any issues with the support provided, feel free to reply here or submit a new ticket via the support center and we will do our best to act as intermediary.
