Home Base for Roomba 560

The Home Base does not light up when I plug in the power supply and the Roomba 560 cannot return to base as there in no infra red signal. This means that the virtual walls are also dead. I can recharge the Roomba by plugging the power supply directly into it but how can I repair or replace the Home Base? It does not seem to come apart easily and I don’t see it listed as a spare part.
Thank you.

Your home base is able to charge the robot but, the robot will not return to the home base?

Your robot will also not stop when it sees virtual walls? In this case, the problem may be with the robot itself. The virtual walls when set to virtual wall mode should emit an infrared signal itself whether the home base is working or not. And the robot should still be able to see it.

The home base cannot be easily repaired and it is therefore suggested to purchase a new home base if in fact the home base is defective. The older style home bases have now been discontinued but, the new kind will certain work with your robot and can be found here.
