Hokuyo UTM-30LX unknown malfunction

Greetings,

My name is Andreas Lydakis and I am currently facing some issues with a Hokuyo UTM-30LX laser range finder I am using. I am using it through ROS (Robot Operating System) and up until now it has working perfectly. Suddenly it has started malfunctioning (red light blinking). The error code that is produced is [00->80], but I could not find documentation about it. I was hoping you could provide me with some idea as of what might be wrong. In case that it is not feasible to determine the cause from the error code, do you provide service for such products, and if so, what is the process that I have to follow ?
