My lab recently purchased a Hokuyo UTM-30LX Scanning Laser Rangefinder and I am running into some difficulties trying to operate it using the provided software. Do you have a basic set of start-up instructions? Is it possible to operate it using Visual Studio C++ Express Edition, or do we need the full version?

Usually this satisfies most technical queries. You should have no problems in VC++ Express.
