Will the Hitec 2 axis Joystick GIM-01 operate the D-845WP 32 bit servo
I will also need to program the servo to 20 deg. + and minus and also reduce the servo speed - for control of a hydraulic pump / will the DPC-11 do this

  • can this programmer operate out in the field to change settings on my robot?

Hi simplemind,

This joystick is nothing more than two potentiometer and it will not be able to control a R/C servo directly.
You would have to acquire the analog signal with a microcontroller and produce a PWM signal to control the servo.

It’s possible to program this servo with either the HFP-30 or the DPC-11.
