Hitec 485HB servo

I am attempting to assemble you RB-Lyn-814 Robot arm. Step A5 on page 9 says to remove the center black screw holding the horn in place on the 485HB servo. The screw was tighten so tight that the head is stripping rather than loosening. How should I proceed?

Good day to you,

Please test all of the other motors screws and send a message to our support center with pictures at this adress:

Sincerely,

I had the same issue. Because you don’t need the white plastic piece, I cut and remove the white piece with a diagonal cutter and used plier to remove the screw.

I have the exact same problem. I built an AL5D a few years ago, so I have the right tools.

I just received my new AL5D this week and started to assemble it tonight. The HS-485HB servo Black screw is fastened too tight. I can’t remove it and I am concerned that I have stripped the screw head. Please advise what I should do.
