High amp voltage regulator needed, along with motor controller?

My current understanding is i’ll have a lipo 3s battery (11.1V 3 cell), with a 3.5v battery cutoff, and then I’ll generate my power rails from this via a separate 5v, 3.3v and high current 12v rail (using voltage regulators for each). I know I’ll also need a motor controller.

I chose the Cytron 20A 6V-30V Dual DC Motor Driver (RB-Cyt-287).

I know it accepts a range of voltages, and PWM for motor control. Does it regulate voltage to the motors, or would I ALSO need another controllable regulator to regulate the voltage between 6-12v to feed to this controller?

If so, what can be done? I will have 2 motors, that accept 6v to 12v as operating voltage, and a MAX of 4.8amps each (total of 10amp with room to spare).

What’s the proper application of these for connecting to a battery?
