any kind of guidance is greatly appreciated please reply to me here or e-mail me directly at

thank you
Can you provide a few details as to what you envision?
Do you need the robot to pick up the paint cans / drinks?
It is just a matter of doing the mixing in a single can, or do you need the robot to “know” the locations of several cans and mix them into one?
The more information you can provide the better.
yes i would like to program the robot to be able to mix cocktails and drinks i have found a video that might be helpful
youtube.com/watch?v=TBF7EE2xnN4
The hobby arms we offer will likely not work. Although it will be a bit of an investment, you can program the Baxter to be a robot bartender:
robotshop.com/en/baxter-rese … ot-us.html
The arms used in the video are semi-industrial as well and don’t come cheap.
i like the industrial look
would be able to buy anything used online?
are these obviously new? do they differ in therms of maintenance ? and also in terms of programming it would they come pre programmed or im going to have to integrate them with an APP i would like to design for this ?
all your help is greatly appreciated
We are not aware of any used models available online, nor have we ever had an open box model.
Yes
This is a semi-industrial arm and there is very little maintenance.
They do not come pre-programmed, but the manufacturer did their best to make their API as easy as possible to use.
would you be able to recommend a programmer that would program this system for me and perhaps make the APP for me?
or anyone from your team could do this if i purchase two of them?
also are there any other models?
Unfortunately we do not have any lists of programmers who provide consultation work, and there is only the one model of Baxter available at this time.
At this time RobotShop does not provide any design or consultations services, but you might reach out to a local university (computer science or computer engineering) and you will likely have many students looking for summer work and who will readily offer their experience and time in order to work with the Baxter (and compensation is always appreciated).
i greatly appreciate you advice
does your company have any offices in toronto so i could go and see these robots in person ?
Unfortunately we do not, and all of our locations are closed to the public.
We do understand that most people in the field would love to see and touch these products and apologize for any inconvenience.
