I've looked over the forums many times, but thought I would say hi, as i'm new to the site.
Anyhow used to love building robots and gadgets in my younger days, sadly later life has been consumed with work and family. still i'm starting to make a bit of a come back into robotics again.

Great to have you as a member. Interesting bot you have there. What is it using for a controller is it PC based or other? Look forward to hearing more from you on this great bot.
Its a little hard to see
Its a little hard to see what its going to look like atm, but i’m building a torso that will attached to the blue bit, which is essentially a large 2 degrees of freedom servo.
there are a hand full of Arduinos on board that enable radio control and computer control, i’m thinking of using a tablet pc for the main brains at some point, but have more building to do first. there is some more info at http://martinelectronics.co.uk/wp/?p=121

A Tablet PC is a great way
A Tablet PC is a great way to go. I use them in several of my bots and have found that you can buy ones off of Ebay with cracked screen for next to nothing.
