Hexapod Code For BotBoarduino

Moved from Kurt’s answer to my general question: Lynxmotion’s Future Plans For BotBoarduino

Thanks, Kurt,

At this time, I do not have a spare BotBoarduino to test this on, and that may be leading to my current question. I examined the code in my Arduino editor and found many lines: #ifdef c4DOF. But I never found any line: #define c4DOF nor any place where this define could be accomplished by answering a question or removing a comment. How is this done? I did see a line for including a hex header. Could it be in there?

Thank you,

You are right that I have not posted any hardware configurations that has it defined, or at least not recently. I think there may have been previous posts about running on Arduino megas…

When the c4dof is defined there are other things that will need to be defined, servo numbers, mins, maxs,… Was working on new configurations and code cleanup, but may not get to that as soon as I would like as, I am a bit distracted…

Thanks again, Kurt,

I think, for the good of the forum, that I will pass up this marvelous opportunity to tell you how to program. I believe it was Mark Twain who said, “It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.” I have trouble getting “Hello, World” programs to work correctly.

So I’ll be content to wait patiently. What time tomorrow can you have this done?
