Here is an image of an AH3-R hexapod with a “pan and tilt” I threw together last weekend. The P/T is using some new parts I recently added to the SES. They are 1/4" and 1" hub spacers. The guns mounted in much the same way as they did on the BRAT Mech. This is the first time I connected anything to both sides of the “C” bracket. It worked out perfectly! The spacing on the gun barrels worked out perfectly. You can move all around the legs, but they will not touch. Here are some images. It’s a work in progress for now.
Looks Great! I was thinking of something similar on the Rover.
I should have added a few more pieces to may current order!

Wow! Thats awesome! Have you thought about how to control the hexapod and the turret simultaneously? Left stick for moving around and right stick for aiming? I think it would be awesome to be able to control and aim the guns while walking in any direction.
And where are you planning to have the camera? On top of the C-bracket?
Looks great, keep us posted!
Cool!! That would look cool on the Hybrid to! The ultimate offroad fighting machine
That is sick! I see the new spacers are being used and it looks killer fantastic!
I’ve not thought much about the code at this point. Not sure if I should have PowerPod code modified, or have the Phoenix code modified. All the best programmers are up to their elbows in their own projects. lol
I’ve got it. One person controls the gun turret, one person controls the movement. Two is better than one, right?
If you used an R/C transmitter/receiver setup, you could direct wire the right joystick to the pan/tilt, use channel 5/6 for firing the guns, and then read channel 1/2 from a Basic Atom to translate that into movement. Just a thought
