Here GNSS reports COMPASS_DEVID1 incorrectly

Hi

I purchased a HERE GNSS GPS. When connected to QGroundControl or APM Planner 2.0, the COMPASS_DEVID1 reports as 131874.
In the box, the documentation states “This is a new HERE module with the latest ICM-20948 sensor built-in for heading reference.” …

… confirmed by checking that the COMPASS_DEVID1 to be “723977” OR “723969”. Can someone explain?

Chalk this issue up to inexperience. I omitted to actually select the device in the GCS’s mentioned. Once I selected
the correct device, all went as documented, and the COMPAS_DEVID1 reported as “723977”.

On to better things.
