I have been researching for a drone that I can use as a personal project to leverage on my resume and applications for engineering clubs, I was hoping someone had recommendations. I am going to start simple with just making fly, but try to branch out by making it autonomous and follow tutorials on AI tracking. I have been eyeballing the Air:bit 2 with the microbit, but just unsure if that one is the best option for that price.

@DronepersonalProject Welcome to the RobotShop Community. Not sure what your budget is, or skill set, but if you’re considering this, here are some additional ideas, but given the processors on these drones, actual “AI tracking” is a bit limited. Some can include some “machine vision” tracking.
