Help whith brushless motor!

Good Morning! I want to make a 3kg sumobot using brushless motors.
I would like to know

1. engine suggestions
2. if i use 4 motors i use 4 batteries or 2
3. I am told that there is a possibility of the magnets breaking. How do I calculate if it will break or not.
4. feedback from someone who uses brushless for locomotion

Usually people use the brushed motors because they provide a vast variety of gear ratios and easier to control the direction of them.
About the battery question, it depends on the motors and the amount of current drawn but it’s always better to have an extra battery in case of emergencies and because batteries could be damaged while in use specually in (sumobot fights).

Brushless motors problems with sumobot fights

Anyone try brushless for locomotion?

I have been interested in using brushless motors for a mini sumo. After a great deal of frustration with trying to find pertinent online information I decided it was time to just try something to start to gain some knowledge. I chose a BL system for 1:16th / 1:18th scale RC cars called the Mongoose Micro Pro. It is a sensored motor so the low speed should not cog. It came with what they call a Three-80 motor. Hello,
I have read these topics but they only talk about problems.I 'd like to know if the result even with all the extra work to use brushless provides a better sumobot. My first idea it 's to use maxon brushed motors but I would like to know if using a brushless one would be better.
