Hi I’m hoping somebody can give me advice on selecting a receiver. Basically, I’m designing a Hovercraft robot for my university project. I have selected all my components and have my design now I have been set the task of selecting a suitable receiver to operate the robot but I’m not sure how to go about this. We have been given the controller, which is the Taranis X9D Plus (https://www.frsky-rc.com/product/taranis-x9d-plus-2/). Do I just have to select a receiver compatible with this controller, or will my components affect which receiver I can use? I have one motor controlling lift and 3 controlling directional thrust, and the battery is a 2500 mAh 4s LiPo. Thanks

You need to find a receiver compatible with your transmitter. The Taranis X9D Plus is compatible with FrSky X series, D series and V8-ll series receivers (plus other receivers if an external module is used), but the EU version is only compatible with the X series receiver EU version.
