HELP remote control car

hey im really new at this sort of stuff and thought you know what this would be easy and my first arduino project did work but hay

ive begun to build a 4WD remote control car well so i thought here is what parts i have :-

Arduino Duemilnova

(Dagu Mr. Basic Mobile Robotic Platform)

Arduino Sheild

2 x Motors
2A Dual Motor Controller
2A Motor Sheild for Arduino
Arduino xbee v1.3
xbee 2mw wire antenna (series 2 ZB)

could some one write me a step buy step guide on how to put this together and what sort of code to write

Welcome to the RobotShop Forum. You can save a lot of parts by simply purchasing the ROMEO which includes an Arduino USB microcontroller as well as a dual motor controller. Note that you don’t need independant control of four motors (skid steering, like a tank, only needs a dual motor controller). You can still mount shields on top of the ROMEO. Instead of the Dagu 4WD rover, consider a DFRobot 4WD rover which has holes for the ROMEO. In addition to all this, we suggest a 6V NiMH battery pack and wiring harness (and charger).
