Help picking motor drivers

Hello, I recently bought a older robot arm that has 5 dc motors. the motors have a peak of 5.5amps and are 12v. they all have encoders to them.

I am hoping to control this arm with a raspberry pi and am looking for good suggestions on affordable motor drivers for my application.

You could use a few of this motor driver:

As it supports I2C, you can use up to 8 modules, however as it is a dual h-bridge you can control 2 motors with one driver so you’ll only need 3 drivers for your 5 motors.
