Hello, I’m going crazy to get the hunter 500 V-tail ready for apm 2.5.2
None of the stock frame settings will work, now I read that someone has changed a firmware to custom settings - where can I get this custom firmware?

The latest version of the APM Planner does support the VTail configuration.
I have not tested it but on many forums they say it and i open the APM Planner here and the “V Style” frame setup is there.
Let us know how it went… !
Could it matter that RobotShop sells the APM 2.6, and not the APM 2.5?
The only difference between the 2.6 and 2.5 is the on-board magnetometer.
Since most people where using the one on the GPS module, they removed it from the board.
Thanks, but I use this “V-Style” for a q30 (like deadcat) which only moves the gc more to the back end of the body, it did not solve the yaw problem with the front motors. Maybe I should take a Multi-Wii in the meantime to get it in the air 
We cannot say for sure about APM, but this is not called a “V” shape but a “Spyder” shape.
