Hi, 

Can somone tell me what these parts are. I ordered them years ago but can't remember wwhat they are.

Thinking back, I think they

Thinking back, I think they could be IR Tx and Rx as I bought them with a load of other bits and wanted them for collision detection. 

The info on LEDs as colour sensitive photo diodes is also useful.
