Hi!
I require your help regarding a problem I’m encountering.
I am doing some research on sensor fusion in automated vehicles and would like to buy/build a vehicle robot that has a camera and a radar that I can use for testing some sensor fusion algorithms and adaptive cruise control algorithms. I would like the whole setup not to exceed $500.
Hardware concerned:
A vehicle-like robot with a camera and radar. I should be able to get the readings from the radar directly not just some pre-built software module.
I found this one on Amazon that looks like what I am interested:
https://www.amazon.com/XiaoR-Geek-Autonomous-Navigation-Recognition/dp/B08M61RDW3?th=1
but I think it is a Chinese company and I am not sure how good their support is. I think RobotShop is a more reliable place.
I am new to robotics so I think this will be an exciting project to do. I am obviously a newbie when it comes to building robots and the available sensors so your expert opinion and recommendations are welcome. I have some experience with automated vehicles.
Thank you so much in advance for your help!
