Help finding bracket for small size stepper. NEMA 8 i think?

Hi I’m new here and am trying to use an old stepper I bought a few years back, but cannot find a suitable bracket small enough

The stepper is 20mm overall width and height and has mounting holes 16mm apart (it was a Pololu motor ). I think this means it is NEMA 8 category.

I’ve looked on robot shop and some other suppliers but nothing seems to go down that small.

Ideally I want to mount vertically, too, but that is probably a side-issue at this stage.

Any advice suggestions please?

Indeed that does seem to be NEMA 8, which is pretty small. RobotShop doesn’t seem to carry any mounting brackets for that size unfortunately. You might try makign your own using a small flat piece of metal, printing the mounting pattern and holes to get accurate dimensions, using a nail or somethign else to punch the center,s then drilling them out and finally bending the metal.

Thank-you for the suggestion. I dont have many tools at home, but you are right it looks like I will need to improvise a solution.
