Help Buying Parts for a Rover

Hello, I’m looking for help with parts for building a simple RC rover platform. It would be similar to the ’ Lynxmotion Aluminum A4WD1 Rover’ however I’d like it to be faster, a few inches larger and carry more weight (approx… 10lbs). I’m looking for motor and motor controller suggestions. This rover will be used outside on rough terrain and should move at the speed of a about 6 miles per hour. It will be controlled by an RC radio. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I’m new at this.

I suggest you to use the Drive Motor Sizing Tool

You’ll be able to define your needs in terms of motor according according to the specifications you are looking for.

Once you have this information, you will be able to find a motor controller.
