I have a tri-colour reprap, but I can't get the z to stop binding, so I bought this Solidoodle 2, and put some acrylic sides on it to help keep the build chamber heated, also to raise the top up so the filament doesn't have such a drastic bend going into the extruder. the acrylic is held on by small strong magnets, and some weather striping ( someone else's idea form the printer forums for the enclosure). The build area is 6" x 6" x 6" or 152mm x 152mm x 152mm :D
I also have it running from a Raspberry Pi running OctoPrint, I want to add some relays to the GPIO pins on the Pi so I can turn the printer on and off remotely. I also have a cheap webcam on it so I can watch it remotely ( like when I'm suppose to be working lmao )
this is before I printed a filament cleaner holder.
I found this dragon head fan duct on thingaverse and chopped it up some to make the filament cleaner, inside the head is a sponge to wipe off dirt and dust.
I've also been trying to learn Blender so I can print sculpted parts, this is my first try at a human head. it's not very large.
