First of all, i’m new to this forum
I have build a small experimental mecanum robot (40x40cm) running on ROS2 using quite cheap motors and wheels, not able to carry a high load
Now i need to build a bigger version able to carry about 250kg max.
I was looking at the robotshop website for the wheels and notices the 8" AndyMark HD wheel support +200kg / wheel or , while the 10" nexus only support 50kg / wheel.
Anyone experience with any of these wheels for high payloads?
@Ebram i’m having a hard to to find the parts needed for mounting the AndyMark wheels.
The version sold on RobotShop seem the be the “bearing bore” like they call them on AndyMark website, so i need a hub or bearing.
The only matching hubs i find on RobotShop are the 0.625 inch or 10 mm.
So these require a 10mm or 16mm D Shaft. Here i can only find a 6 mm D Shaft on RobotShop.
Any help / advice on how to mount the AndyMark wheels using other parts of the RobotShop is more as welcome.
I prefer getting all parts from a single site instead of have to find a vendor for each part i need.
Specially when ordering from a european country where u can legal VAT invoice and no high custom clearance cost, the number of shops seem very limit.
