Hello,

I’m a french student and this year i will participate at the “Coupe de France de Robotique”.

We want to buy ultrasonic sensor and we have a question about this product : robotshop.com/eu/fr/module-s … -sr04.html

My professor say " Warning, it’s a chinese copy and when the receiver don’t receive a signal, the sensor will be blocked".

Is that corrected on this sensor or we must buy the version Ultra01+ ?

We have been selling the HC-SR04 from Iteadstudio for a while, and although the price is very low, we have not had many issues (exchanges or returns).
There are now many manufacturers which essentially have the same circuit as the original. If you want one from a US based company:
