The A4WD1 sports some snazzy tires, only problem is, it is often very difficult to get the rims in the tires properly. Here’s a method that I’ve devised which makes it pretty easy to get both sides of the bead into the flange of the rim.

First thing you’ll want to do is use a utility knife or similar and remove any imperfections on the inner part of the rim. This will be important later on.

Pull one side of the tire out, so that it sticks out. Then insert one side of the rim. It helps to go at an angle in the middle, where the opening is the largest. Rotate the rim slowly while pressing it in to help coax it into place.
You should end up with the tire looking like this:

Pull that side of the tire out again. You should get something that looks like this:
Now the tricky part; press the rim into the tire while rotating it. What you want to end up with here is the rim almost fully into the tire with the bead still sticking out. If there are any imperfections, then it may be difficult to pass the tire over it. It should end up looking like this:

Push the rim into the tire from both sides. The bead should now be completely in the flange.

Now for the other side. Flip the tire over, and it should look something like this:
Almost half the bead is in the flange. Just hold that side in and pull the rest of the bead away from the center, and it will retract back into the flange.
There you have it! A perfect tire.
