Having problems connecting computer to SSC-32

So I’m trying to connect my Lynx AL5B arm to my computer using the Dual Lynx Arm Controller. However, I’m having problems with that software because it keeps showing “Not connected”. I’ve tried to adjust the baud rates, com ports (below 3), and I’ve even tried to restart the computer but nothing’s happening. Any help?

Not sure what you mean by that. what OS are you using, and what is the serial hardware (USB adapter, serial card, etc.) you are using to connect the pc to the arm?

If you did not play with the jumpers on your SSC-32, it is set by default to 115200, which is the only baud rate which you should select in the software.

Hi HuskerFan,

Is COM 1 the only COM port that is available in the software? Windows often names COM ports in an unpredictable manner, so you might want to try the other ports available.
