Why thank you, Jonny, if you only knew. I’m 72 now which means I may have trouble chewing that mechanical cake that you and RobotDude collaborated on. But thank you both again for the thought.

And since I’m still younger than blues singer Buddy Guy, “I’m Seventy Four Years Young”, I guess I’m still in good enough shape to play robots with all you younger guys on this great forum. Just please be gentle with me and stretch my brain slowly.

Thanks guys. Always nice to be thought of. But you are right, Kurt. I wonder if the confusion could be due to Julius and Augustus. Until their months were forced into the summer calendar, the eighth month was October which is what “October” means. That way my birthday would have been October 16th. Still…I was born somewhat after the calendar change, so maybe that’s not the answer.

No. I watch the forum quite a bit and the reason why others have congratulated you for your birthday… But not actually on your birthday is that someone spammed this thread thus moving it to top position. Having seen this people automatically posted happy birthday. Lol
