Just curious as to the possibility of hacking an inexpensive multimeter to use as an input to the ssc-32. Harbor Freight has their inexpensive multimeters on sale again for $1.99 (below) which makes it affordable for tinkering. The bottom schematic is probably the typical setup for this meter. My question is what is the final voltage range input to the chip from the various switch positions? If it is 0-5v, then possibly one could tap off of the chip input for measuerment by the analog input on an ssc-32. Using a multimeter internals to get a 0-5v output from various external inputs would be a neat setup for data logging via the ssc-32. Just some ideas for a $2 dollar bill (locally aka a “dance dollar”).
