H6 AC/DC Li-po charger will not charge. Chinese Garbage?

My senior design team needed an inexpensive li-po balancing charger so we purchased the H6 AC/DC Li-po battery charger. We received the batteries and charger last week. when the batteries were connected the Red LED remained on and would not change to a green ‘charging state’ LED. A multimeter was connected in series and confirmed that 0.0 A were flowing even though the charger was current limited at 1.0 A. (the Battery pack is a 2500mAh Hyperion G5 SV 4S 14.8V). The battery pack was connected to a lab power supply and charged to a cell voltage of 3.8V. H6 charger was then reconnected and the charger still refused to provide any charge. Is this a bad Chinese knock-off charger or is there something that I am missing???

@naj5463 Welcome to the community. To confirm:

If so, it’s fairly straightforward, in that you connect the charging cable to the appropriate connector (three pin, 4 pins etc.) and plug the battery’s output to the main red and black terminals via the included selection of adapter cables. The knob onboard limits the charging current.

If you have the battery above however, the output is an XT60 connector, which is not included in the accessories. You’d need either of the following:

Yep that’s what I have/done. I guess the charger is not working.

@naj5463 Please reach out to us via [email protected] with your order or invoice number (or a way to find it) and a link to this forum thread and we’ll certainly look into an RMA exchange. Alternatively, this thread can be converted to a ticket directly, though we still need your info.
