H-bridge circuit board

Hello,

A while back I bought an actuator and potentiometer with the purpose of controlling it via computer. I bought a LAC-board in order to do this. The only problem was that it could only handle 4A, while the actuator had a max draw of 5A. This caused the actuator to stop before input destination.

Now I am looking to replace my circuit board with one that supports higher amperage. I have been looking at this one: robotshop.com/en/md04-24v-20 … ifications

Before I buy this I need some educated approval. Will I be able to control my actuator with potentiometer input from a PC using this H-bridge circuit board?

The actuator and potentiometer I am using are the following ones:
firgelliauto.com/products/heavy-duty (400 lb, 30")
firgelliauto.com/products/potentiometer (30")

Thank you for any input!

Hi,

With MD04 you should be able to control your actuator with a potentiometer via USB without issues :
On the analog input : 0v - 2.5v - 5v for Reverse - Stop - Forward accordingly.
