Guilbot

This is Guilbot, he is my first robot. He uses an arduino, a ping sensor, one servo and two motors provided with the chasis which used to be an RC tank. Currently im using a 7.2v nicad battery.

What kind of RC tank thread

What kind of RC tank thread did you use? Im into tracked robots and Im looking for a cheap of free way of having an effective one.

Thats the tank i used. It justh appened to be in my localhobby shop so i got it.

It looks like the turret has a gizmo in it for shooting plastic balls. You could rig it up on top with a servo pan/tilt mechanism and put it in the olympic games competition :slight_smile:

Luckily i saved the top half of the tank, it has pan and tilt already built in, and an electronic trigger to fire the rounds.

Ive had a whole load of other things to sort out first though =/ No time for bots atm.
