Hello everyone. I am an amateur robot designer. I am creating a robot that is designed to grab flat surface materials. The design calls for suction cups as grippers at the end of the arms. However, I cannot find suction cups on these retail distributors’ websites. Can someone please steer me in the right direction to find these suction cups or perhaps suggest a new way for grasping and handling smooth, flat surface objects.

What is the weight of the object to be picked up and the overall dimensions?
weight 1.4 pounds and length and width is 11.75 in x 11.75 inches (roughly )
Unfortunately we do not have the suction cups nor the vacuums for that weight.
Suction cups seem to be the reliable way to go.
Do you know of any distributors I could get into contact with to find them?
Unfortunately we are not with any suppliers who provide large suction cups / powerful vacuums.
what about an alternative measure for picking up flat smooth surface materials ?
If the surface is magnetic… a magnet?
Alternatively, a track of some sort to get it from point A to point B.
