Green black beagle project

Got more questions than answers after a reply from technical support
I asked… what main borads the RB-See-517 is compatable with

Which after doing hours of research scrolling through the system
After receiving the reply that the RB-See-517 is compatable with

RB-Elm-01

RB-See-482

Not quite sure what that means…
I’m hoping it means that black and green Platforms support the

RB-See-517

Having spent quite some time reviewing the massive options and configurations
Of boards…
Being interested in receiving wireless control for the RB-See-517
By way of a master to remote slave location … the RB-See-517 being attached to the slave

The RB-See-517 also has dupont female pin out locations stop the cape

Which gives me the impression there is a collection of compatible shields
That can configure atop the cape…

Wonder what else it configures with

Am also wondering what kinds of shields are compatible with the

POCKETBEAGLE-SC-569

And how we get to the viable configured options…

Adding a wi fi shield as well as the RB-See-517 is essentiall what I am doing to a

AN ARDUINO NANNO

Running 2 H-BRIDGE MOTOR CONTROL CARDS AND AT LEAST 6 PWM PINS FOR IR CAMERA CONTROL

Hi,

Here are answers to your comments and questions:

Indeed, our support staff informed you which BeagleBone the cape you selected RB-See-517] is compatible with. You can read on the product page under description that this cape is indeed compatible with both the BBB (BeagleBone Black RB-Elm-01]) and the BBG (BeagleBone Green RB-See-482]).

Yes, the BeagleBone can be used with many different capes. Most capes offer female headers on top so you can stack 2 or more capes together. Do make sure to check compatibility in their documentation first, though. Most capes should be compatible with each other, but this is not always guaranteed.

According to the manufacturer website, the PocketBeagle is compatible with capes meant for the larger BeagleBone boards.

We do not currently seem to offer any wireless communication cape at the moment. That being said, you can simply use a USB WiFi dongle (ex: RB-Pis-01) or a UART/SPI/I2C based WiFi module, since the BeagleBone platforms typically have at least one of each of those interfaces available through their GPIO (General Purpose Input Output) pins.

We hope this helps.

Sincerely,
