Gravity Analog pH Meter Kit

Hello,

I recently purchased the Gravity pH meter and Electrical Conductivity (EC) meter kits from robotshop. However, when using the pH meter kit, the pH circuit board seems to be malfunctioning. I have used the pH probe with another circuit and have verified that it is functioning properly. When the gravity pH board is connected, the analog pin outputs a constant 4.8-4.9volts as almost as if it is shorted internally. Additionally, the board makes a constant high frequency sound that appears to be coming form the on board potentiometer.

I have performed the following ‘self-checking’ steps as per the manufacturer’s website (df robot) dfrobot.com/wiki/index.php/ … f-checking

All seems to be good except that when I short the BNC connector, the analog still outputs 5V instead of 2V.

How can I get my pH meter to output useful information?

Thank you.
