Hi all,
I connected the GPS coming with the Quadrino Nano to the board itself and then I configured it through the program.
For some reason I cannot see my actual position once I started the WinGUI MultiWii. It get connected but the showed position is not the real one.
It shows the copter somewhere in the world,

I dunno…maybe russian or bulgaria…
But my actual position is in Germany
Is there some options to tune before using GPS?
See ya.

The GPS module is actually on the Quadrino Nano PCB. The antenna is the black box you connect via cable to the Quadrino Nano.
Have you set the GPS in the FCT (Firmware Configuration Tool) ? See image attached.

It’s easy to verify this by looking at the “Flight Deck” tab. All the sensors that are active should be shown there (see image attached)

The location shown in that print screen is the actual “default” position which means the GPS is not setup and/or there where no satellites found.
The blue GPS led should be steady when the module is searching for satellites and blinking if it has locked on to 5 or more satellites (even if the GPS is not set in FCT, but if it’s not it will not send the information to the Quadrino Nano)
Hi
anybody knows if the following guide applies to Quadrino Nano?
I simply connected the GPS Antenna to the board I had no GPS module that needs to be mounted.
Is the guide for another Quadrino board?
Cheeers!!!
This guide can apply but it’s for the old Quadrino (not the Nano) with a piggyback GPS module.
Of course, the Nano has a GPS already onboard so no need to add anything else.
We are working on the complete Quadrino Nano user guide at the moment.
