but I would like tech support on a product I purchased from ROBOTSHOP
apparently, I can’t call you on this…
I ordered:
32 Channel 5Hz GPS Receiver with Antenna
Product code : RB-Lin-30
which is supposed to be a linksprite gps module
INSTEAD I GOT: Gstar GS-91 GPS module
(I don’t really mind getting a different part than what I ordered BUT…)
there is NO DOCUMENTATION on this part ANYWHERE!
the datasheet on this item is referenced to the linksprite part NOT the GSTAR

you guys sent me a GStar GS-91 (NOT GS94)
this device ONLY has 22 pins…
all the docs you linked here (which I am familiar with) have devices with 28 pins
it is NOT the branding I’m worried about
NO IDEA which pin is which and I don’t want to blow the module up!
so, again, I ask…
any errata for the GSTAR GS-91??
I will gladly send back the product and get the part you actually list on the web site

I have a project that has been on hold… for a month!
I have bought from you before and things have been good, but selling parts you know nothing about and then not offering support for over a month? this is outrageous!
I want my money back or the advertised part
another week and I’m going to go to the better business bureau or whatever channels I can to complain about standard procedures that are NOT being met, including false advertising

The GPS module you received does come LinkSprite. However, they are a distributor of several manufacturers, so it is possible the product is not branded the way you expected. We apologize for that.
We verified our stock and indeed with have receivers with 22 pins instead of 28. We have contacted the manufacturer in order to correct this situation. We will get back to your shortly.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. We got a wrong shipment form the manufacturer and that is why you got an undocumented product. The exchanges department is contacting you directly with an RMA number since we finally got the correct part, and they will ship it to you as soon as possible.
