GPS Bee V1.0 Can't connect to sattelites

I can’t get a signal with my ublox 6 gps. I’m wondering if I have a bad antenna.

I’ve had other GPS modules and they haven’t given me any trouble.

Hi j5hred,

Can you show how you connected the GPS Bee exactly ?
The issue is probably related to how it’s connected and to what.

All the best,

Its powered off the 3.3v from the arduino. Using the u-center software, I can see that it can see some satellites for a short period of time, typically one cycle (one second) then it loses it again. It’s usually around 15dB.

Are you testing the module in an Outside environment ? Make sure the antenna connector is properly inserted prior to power the module as well.

Yes to outside. I walked into the middle of a parking lot then drove to a few more empty places with the antenna on top of my car when I stopped. Nothing… :frowning:

We replied you on our Support Center for a remplacement board but wanted to tell you that the manufacturer also suggested to remplace the board.
Let us know once you receive the new board.
