I am using a GP2D12 IR RANGER sensor and I am trying to interface it with my dragon 12 plus microcontroller. I am using assembly language. I connected my yellow (vout) wire to pad10, my black (ground)wire to pad09, and my red (vcc) wire to pad08. I then set ddra as input and i did the command movb #$FF,PORTA. I sent the analog signal from the sensor through the analog/digital converter, but I am not getting a reading. I am a beginner. Can anyone help??
