I need to know if the mounting holes are correctly spaced for attaching to the SES hole pattern, for instance using these to bolt a GHM onto the side of one of the ASB-5X U channels. Can anyone tell me?
I tried orienting both of them to the “U” channel in every orientation but no go. I do plan on designing bracket for this exact purpose, but I have several big projects in front on it.
Thanks for the quick reply. A possible solution occurs to me. Could the SES hole pattern, say on one of the L brackets, match up with the front of one of the gearhead motors? Its a long shot but hey if it matches up it would save you the trouble of making a new bracket!
Jim, that reminds me…
Would you be willing to take a look at customer-submitted bracket designs?
There’s a lot of people here who’d like to see new brackets like Kamen has suggested, and I’m sure that some of them have CAD skills…
If you’re opposed to the idea for proprietary/sentimental reasons, I totally respect that.
But, if it comes down to simply not enough eyes, brains, hands and time, then we’ve got plenty of those to lend you for the low price of free.
Hello Nick,
I would accept anyone’s ideas as long as it’s understood that I may mass produce them for sale. If someone wants to send me a drawing in exchange for royalties, or some other form of compensation, I am not interested. It can cause lots of trouble if I already have plans to do something similar, and I don’t want any hard feelings. Adding just a single bracket is a lot more expensive and time consuming than many realize. I can design brackets and such with little effort, but budget (time and money) determines when and if something can be added.
