I am driving the SSC-32U with a microcontroller (not Arduino). I am sending serial data from the USART to the SSC-32 at 9600 baud. The SSC-32 seems to indicate that it is receiving the data because the green led blinks every time I send the string. There is power to the servos and a good ground. The blue LED is on. The string I am sending is “#5P1500S750” I have looked at the serial data on a scope and the characters including the are all there.
However, there is no pulse on the channel 5 pulse pin, or any other pulse pin.
Anybody have any ideas what the problem might be?
Hey,
Assuming your board is not defective (very, very rare according to our stats! ), my best bet would be that it is setup/electrical related.
Therefore, please provide clear pictures of your setup. Make sure to show all components (SSC-32, microcontroller board, power source(s), wiring, etc.). You can annotate your pictures for clarity as needed.
To upload them to your reply, add them as attachments (in Full editor mode). See the image below for details.
Sincerely,
